Inventory Control Administrator

North Battleford Branch

Anderson Pump House Ltd. in North Battleford is looking for a task oriented, self motivated individual to fill a position in our purchasing department. The successful applicant for this position will be involved in purchasing and receiving of inventory and responsible for entering all receipt documents and invoices as inventory is received.

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for control and administration of purchase orders and receiving of inventory
• Monitor purchase orders, packing slips and back orders for accuracy
• Purchase inventory when required
• File and maintain inventory vendor invoices
• Remain current and implement new computer technology that will benefit the company

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Skill in using a personal computer and various software including Microsoft Office
• Skill in public relations
• Skill in using the Internet
• Ability to handle and resolve problems
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Credentials and Experience

• Previous experience in accounting would be an asset
• Previous experience working in an office setting
• Previous experience in dealing with the public

Shipper/Receiver

Prince Albert Branch

Anderson Pump House in Prince Albert has a current opening for a Shipper/Receiver.  The selected candidate will be responsible for all shipping and receiving duties and assisting with customer service and warehousing functions.

 

Your Duties will include:

·         Assemble goods for shipping

·         Determine most suitable means for shipping

·         Direct delivery vehicles and help load and unload goods

·         Inspect, count and store received goods

·         Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments

·         Operate forklifts, hand trucks, or other materials-handling equipment

·         Provide customer service and other duties as assigned

 

Your qualifications:

·         Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment

·         Skill in using a personal computer

·         Physical ability to lift and move heavy goods repeatedly

·         Valid driver’s license

District Sales Manager

Anderson Pump House has a current career opportunity in Prince Albert for a motivated, outgoing person with excellent interpersonal skills to join our expanding Sales team as District Sales Manager. This is an outside sales position based in Prince Albert requiring travel outside the city up to two days per week.

Anderson Pump House is a distributor for several pump manufacturers, many water system accessory products, a wide range of water treatment equipment, a complete line of turf irrigation equipment and wholesale plumbing products. The result is the broadest range of water system products available in central and northern Saskatchewan.

You will be responsible for servicing and growing our customer base in and around Prince Albert. 

You will achieve this by;

·         Regular visits and product demonstrations to current and prospective customers.

·         Maintaining a high level of relevant product knowledge.

·         Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

·         Working independently and as a team with our in house staff

·         Continual effort  to providing complete customer satisfaction

·         Keeping a current knowledge of our customers and accounts

·         Identifying and resolving customer concerns and presenting a positive company image

You must have;

·         Sales experience, or related water industry experience

·         A good understanding of sales and marketing

·         Ability to prepare quotes and manage customer accounts

·         A valid driver’s licence

·         A passion for sales and be achievement motivated

·         Computer skills, specifically Windows based programs

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         The ability to work under pressure

·         A positive attitude

·         Diversified knowledge of water pumps, water treatment equipment and wholesale distribution of plumbing products

·         The ability to manage your time and workload

·         Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
